What are your favourite salads?

Both of us are salad dodgers but it's too hot to eat heavy meals so are trying to eat salads, I never think they're very filling though so what dinner salads do you enjoy?

I often have chicken, mackeral fillets or tuna. Chicken either hot or cold. Dressing of your choice. I love a good salad though... !

I love a salad at lunch time. The key to not making it boring is a nice few extras such as balsamic vinegar, homous, nando's sauce etc. I usually have lettuce, tomato, cucumber, red or spring onion, then have something like cous cous/coleslaw/pesto pasta and then a protein such as chicken/falafel. Sometimes have a pitta on the side too and it is all delicious. Pizza Express also do a range of light "leggara" sauces in Tesco which is lovely.

Where you are, I’d be going for a lovely Greek salad with loads of fresh ingredients.

Failing that I enjoy Cesar salad.

I like a small portion of buttery mashed potato with a dollop of soured cream stirred in with my salad, delicious with salad cream.
