Mobile Candied nuts in the parks

Not sure if thats their official name but hopefully you'll know what I mean! Was wondering if anybody had ever made them at home? If they turned out great do you have a recipe please? I'd like to have a go at making them, i wanted to get some in the parks but forgot all about them!
Thanks!

I make pumpkin spice candied nuts and spiced nuts easy to do but you have to watch them in case the burn
A heavy based skillet or frying pan / roasting tin is all the equipment you need
