Hi Kelly
Have a look at the trip reports via the Search - I've been a few times. Went independently on my own once - booked flights via Air France and hotel at Hilday inn, Boissy St George, and the 2nd time won the trip.

Be prepared tho' - It really isn't Orlando!

MK in Paris is quite similar to MK in Florida (the weather isn't as nice though! ). The park is lovely. I did not like the way there is no queueing system for autographs or photos with the characters in the park, you have to push your child forward or they would never get to meet the character. In Florida there were orderly queues.

The studios park in Paris is very small towards the one in Florida and they are quite different. We spend 5 nights in DLP in May 2003 in Hotel Cheyenne, it is cheaper to go to Paris of course and the tickets are included in the package unlike Florida, which means you have full access to parks from the minute you arrive until you leave. Definitely great to keep the Disney pangs at bay, but it's no WDW.

We went to DLP in December, had a good time despite the weather! People not as friendly, some quite rude. Stayed at Seqouia Lodge which was very nice. We went with Ledger, its a long coach journey but I went prepared! Although you can't beat Florida sunshine it is nice for a short break. We went for 2 whole days in the parks I think 3 would have been nice.

We have been to DLP three times and yes no way the ame as wdw but the people I would say are more friendly. In my opinion some of the staff at wdw Mk were appallingly rude when asking for help.

It is good for a short break to keep the magic alive.

We have driven and flown, both have advantages.

The hotels on the park are good insofar as you can wak to the parks

We went once a couple of years ago for the day, mainly did the studio and thought it was very small so easy to get it all done in less than a day

Weather isnt as good as florida but you dont expect it to be

People can be rude and push past etc.. but I guess you can get that anywhere..

Its good for a fix when you cant to WDW for a while

We went a few years ago. Stayed in the New York Disney Hotel and flew with Easyjet.

It is not Orlando, but as we had not been to the USA before we did not know any better... We all loved it and started to book trip to Orlando the day we can back from Paris.

The people are very rude and getting an autograph was terrible, not as organised as in Orlando.

Food and drink was expensive. Think we paid over £7 for a beer in the hotel.

Weather was cold, but it was Feb/March.

The rides in Paris MK were better than Orlando, but MGM is miles better in Orlando than Paris.

Paris is great for a weekend or short mid-week break. You will enjoy.
