Mobile Apologies - jumped straight in!

Apologies - I've not introduced myself before jumping in and asking for help. My first visit to Florida was approx 13 years ago on a familymoon. We came with our 10 year old son and husband's immediate family and stayed in a villa and did WDW parks and Universal. My husband and his family had been a few times before and I have to admit I wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be, I had really enjoyed DLP and WDW just didn't appeal. So fast forward 10 years and we want to take our 10 year old daughter but experience a more disney feel by staying onsite.
Our son aged 10 was petrified of roller coasters and now aged 23 loves them, so the plan was he would come also. However he joined RAF regiment in October and is just about to start phase 2 of his training - so we really don't know if he will be able to come 😪. So we are trying to book what we can with him included and leave him off for flight and park tickets where we can, as it won't cost us any more having him included for the room.
It amazing how the costs have jumped up but the price difference between offsite and onsite hasn't swayed me from staying onsite.
I apologise now if I ask too many or too silly questions but I'm a born worried planner! Lol
