Us Three At Disney - Day 7, 8 & 9

Day 7 – Villa/Pool & Florida Mall

Had a lovely swim in the pool in the morning. Ate lunch at villa and drove to Florida Mall, DH had forgotten his IWatch charger so decided to go shopping where there was an Apple Store. He decided not to spend the money; said he’d do without (after all is moaning about it lol). Still, we had a good walk round, DD bought a new mini Adidas backpack and cap, I got myself a cap too. Called in at Walmart on the way home and stocked up on food and somethings for the pool. DD was straight in the pool when we got back!

Had tea and had a chilled evening in the Villa.

Day 8 – Seaworld & MK

Didn’t get to do the full day we planned at seaworld

– we have 14 days included with our Discovery Cove tickets so we can come back any time – now DD is mad on rollercoasters we headed straight for them, DH doesn’t do them, but he’d been brave on 7dMT, BTM & SM lol and then we got him on Slinky Dog, so he said he’d do Mako, I did say it was a lot faster than slinky but he said if DD was going on it he was. Waited about 15 mins and even I was nervous. I’d had a headache yesterday, but was much better this morning, so I went on it. It was so good, loved it, DH didn’t look too good

. However as much as I loved it, headache returned as we were walking over to Krakken and I suggested we came back later, DD was having none of it and headed for it, DH went with her even though he’d not been on upside down ride before. DD was all smiles and DH rather green. We had a look at Mantra, DH said no way, DD all for it and me I didn’t like the going backwards bit. Headache getting worse so we decided to call it a day, it isn’t worth it when not feeling good – maybe I shouldn’t have done the ride lol. Walked through the Sharks on the way back – DH did the shark dive here in 2004 on our honeymoon while I sat eating a meal and watching the sharks ram into his cage lol

Went straight back to the Villa, DD went in the pool and I had a lie down. Felt much better. The plan after Seaworld was to go over to City Walk for a meal but we made some sandwiches up and decided to go watch Happily Ever After at MK. It was the busiest we had seen any park since being here, but there was a ticketed event tonight – an extra 3 hours in the park for $125 each. Before Happily Ever After we went on Winnie the Pooh and Jungle Cruise and after did Pirates of the Caribbean and It’s a small world. As we were walking back we hadn’t realised that there was another show at the Castle – Once Upon A Time, we had missed the beginning of it.

On the way home DD was hungry we called in McDonlads and it was the longest wait ever for 6 chicken nuggets! Got home about 12:15pm.

Day 9 – Crazy Golf & Disney Springs

Our Itinerary today was going to DS to watch Dumbo, DD wanted to do a late showing at 10pm, so I made a reservation at Planet Hollywood for 7pm.

We decided to head out for a game of Crazy golf at Blizzard Beach after lunch. It was so hot today, played the winter side, DH won as always, DD Second which means I lost lol.

Once at Disney Springs, we went to get Dumbo tickets, wanted the recliner seats, however they didn’t have that seating Dumbo so we decided to do the Dine in and booked tickets for 2:45pm for 2 days later.

Walked around the shops and had refreshments in the Coca Cola store – coke floats yummy - until it was time to eat. Had a fab meal, for starters me and DD shared he Humous & Pitta Bread there was plenty for two, DH had the Buffalo Wings. For mains DD had Plain Jane Cheeseburger yet again, DH had Bacon Mac n Cheese and I had the LA Lasagne, all was very nice and enjoyed the atmosphere in there.

Stopped and listened to a brilliant guy singing, did a few more shops and back villa around 10:30pm.

Decided we’d go back Seaworld tomorrow and do just the shows no rides, had a look on line and booked the Penguin Up Close Tour for 12:30pm.
