Mobile DLP Meal plan

Hi,

Booked for DLP in October for Kerri, my sister and my niece as a surprise for Kerri’s and my nieces birthday.
Booked online, Newport bay and half way through got a call from work so just booked. Now I’m wondering if I should of added a meal plan or not. Any advice would be great 😁

Best thing to do is look at the menus and work out if it's worth it. They'd get hotel breakfast then either lunch/dinner. Personally I've never had a meal plan as we like the non Disney restaurants like Rainforest Cafe and also eat at the counter service places in the parks

Thanks. Niece is fussy so may be better without 😊

Personally don’t think you need one. If you really want the hotel breakfast then I would say it is worth it, otherwise just pay as you go. Breakfast will cost around €25pp which is why the meal plan is expensive. You can get decent meals from Vapianos for around €20pp, whereas Disney restaurants are €35+. There are more options when you aren’t stuck to the meal plan. Have a look at the different restaurants and see which you’d want to eat at and price it up 😊

Nice though the breakfast is, I don’t think it is worth that.

You can get breakfast elsewhere cheaper. Earl of Sandwich does a good bacon and egg roll, or New York Style Sandwiches in the Village does pastries and baguettes. Annette’s does a cooked breakfast but I don’t think it opens till 10.

Haven’t they changed the breakfasts back now to getting the buffet breakfast in the hotel as part of your room booking?

No, but breakfast at the hotel is now included in the dining plan, whether paid for or free.
