As well as retail what will happen to holiday companies?
Holidays now looking unlikely at Xmas.
Iíd be surprised now if the likes of Virgin get going back to US in Easter.
Maybe next summer at the earliest and even then limited passenger numbers.
Virginís bail out only tided it over so long.
Could we start to see them and the previously financially sound begin to fall unless the government take some action, be it financial support or testing to get flights going etc with borders opened?

In the two travel agents in our local shopping centre yesterday I saw one customer total, (hint to TUI donít put the agent who sucks her hair in the window desk ...ugh gross).
I really feel for the staff, I canít see how the retail outlets can survive.
Airlines, their survival wonít be so much holidaymakers but whether business travellers go back to flying again or if they decide they can mainly save the money and Zoom visits instead permanently.
Virgin I donít see surviving, most airlines have assets like planes, Virgin lease everything. I just canít see them making it.

Went across the border into England today, for our last wine & beer run before being locked down again at 6pm.
Speaking with a member of staff, seems ASDA is being sold again.

Walmart didn't take it off the market after the Sainsbury sale was blocked.

There is talk of EG Group buying it.
