I managed to pre order one from game instore (sold out online) £10 deposit and pay the rest on collection as usual so happy with that plus I get reward points too.
They were only allowing one pre order per person which I do think is fair

I ordered one about 10 minutes ago and got an email immediately. I see that the amount is also pending in my bank account!

I got one from Amazon at 9 yesterday morning, was waiting on them putting them up as I’d checked a stock site and they said Amazon was supposed to be putting theirs on at 9. Son had registered with Game for pre order but he missed out. Was sheer luck he had messaged and I had time to look !

We tried everywhere online, went over to currys and still couldn't get one. My ds went to town walked straight into game, 4 people in the queue and they pre-ordered it for him. Thats what he wanted for his 21st birthday, hes been waiting like a big kid lol.

I got one by pure fluke. I was having trouble sleeping so went on my phone. An email from smyths popped up saying they were available so i bought one quick. 2 minutes after it went on sale wednesday night. Think it was around 11.30pm ish. Its hubbys xmas present. He has no idea i am so excited to give it to him. Next job is to get the new xbox for my son next week!

Mine is saying to ‘sit tight, we’re processing your order’.
I paid by PayPal so that maybe why.
Although I got an instant email from PayPal confirming the payment to Argos.🤷

Managed to order one from Argos about 15-20 mins ago. Still no confirmation email, but have a order number.

I had two attempts - the first one got as far as verifying the payment with my bank account and e bank account responded with the code, which I entered and then Argos page said - transaction complete, but then froze for 30 mins and nothing happened.

So I refreshed the page and the purchase was still there and I redid bank details - again verified - this time went through the final page.

I've had no confirmation email from the first attempt and no money pending on that, so It didn't go through.

The second attempt worked.

my son's wanted to order two and it had to be done yesterday they ordered 2 off Very - £900 just over with delivery paid in full - glad they are working now so they are paying. I am trying to persuade them to donate their old PS4 to my afterschool and holiday club but they say I have to pay them for it
