Wait list for our home resort at 11 months ...

Never thought we would be in this position but tried to book our August 2021 trip today at our home resort of Copper Creek to be told some of our dates were fully booked!

We are gutted especially after having to cancel this years August trip.

Oh no! Thatís rubbish and I feel for you. Were you trying to book a studio as I guess there are just so few of them versus the points in the resort? Hopefully waitlist will come through for you 🤞

Unfortunately this has been an issue for Copper Creek for a little while I believe (from reading elsewhere).

We have had the same problem booking Copper Creek for May. 11 months out and we only got half the nights.

Saw multiple people complaining about this on Facebook.
Copper Creek is a brilliant resort but itís ludicrous they built so few studios and put so many points in cabins. I once did an analysis on square footage and points per square foot, and those cabins were ridiculously profitable to build.
Being locked out of home resort at 11 months is no fun and unprecedented really.
Hopefully waitlist will come through.

So you pay a large amount upfront for DVC plus annual dues and still donít get a guaranteed room? Wow, seems crazy to me

Thanks for your replies. Doesnít help that the booking part of the website is down so canít look ourselves at what is available so had to be done over the phone.
