There is a Travelex at the Lake Buena Vista Shopping Centre on the 535 near the Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa Hotel, I wouldn't like to say what the exchange rate would be, I'd imagine pretty dreadful though

You could use any guest services desk in the parks. Be aware that you will more than likely not be happy with the exchange rate offered.

I would leave the cash in your safe and withdraw dollars on either a credit or debit charge. Even after ATM fees and interest is taken into account you will still end up with a better deal than exchanging pounds in the USA

Better off using a credit card as the exchange rates will be bad should never take sterling to change over there

I possible use a credit card if you have one and then take the cash back home and use it to pay off the card.
Otherwise as posted above you can change to dollars but the exchange rate will be poor.

We do this when we go, and always get the same (if not slightly better) rate than at home even taking into account the non sterling transaction fee

You will get a terrible rate, as above, go and take money out on a debit or credit card. Wawa gas station don't charge to use ATM's, most will charge a fee to withdraw.

As most others have said in reality you are selling GBP and it's not very attractive and the exchange rate will be dire.

Not prying into your personal banking situation but if you have money in your current account why not withdraw from an ATM with a debit card? Or a CC?

The ATMs in Wawa gas stations don't charge although your bank might and you'll get the business exchange rate not the tourist rate.
