Volcano bay

We have universal ap 2 park passes that have been put on hold til we go back.
If we wanted to go to volcano bay do you think it would be better to upgrade the tickets or buy seperate volcano bay tickets

It will depend on how many times you intend to visit VB. Not sure what the cost is to upgrade an AP to include VB but the on the gate price varies depending what day & month you visit. My DH has an AP & he paid around $90 in July last year.

I think you have just got to do the maths. How many days will you go x $80 per day versus cost to upgrade.

Thanks, only 2 park AP tickets available at the moment so can't judge the upgrade. Have sent universal a message to ask if upgrade cost will post when I find the answer.
Staying at cabana so would be ideal to go

Universal got in touch and said the annual passes can't be upgraded to a 3 park pass.
Not sure I will be paying out $80 a day per person go

I'd guess the reason you can't upgrade is that you have already used your AP, this was also the previous policy when trying to upgrade a 2 park "normal" pass to a 3 park AP.
