Shanghai Disney-WOW

Ive just got back from China and Shanghai Disney.

Shanghai Disney has got to be my favourite Disney in the World. Ive been to every Disney apart from Tokyo.

The Park is huge and the Castle is massive, they have gone into so much detail for this park.

We arrived at 8am and there was hundreds of people there already. We finally got in at 8:30am and managed to get one fast pass for Tron at night all the other rides had sold out by this point, We did go the day before the Chinese Bank holiday though.

The rides here are incredible, The pirates ride is something else and Tron the ride is amazing too its much better at night though but the theming on each ride here is out of this world and the technology has to be among the best used.

Each ride was around 2-3 hours long though so plan ahead.

Ignite the dream- the night time show at the Castle was awesome too perhaps the best Disney night time show ive seen.

I totally recommend anyone to come to this amazing park!

I totally agree it is just great! The ear sellers in the queues were annoying!

It's so pretty isn't it?! When we went everything was 10 minutes or less wait time and I couldn't believe it! Can't wait to go back one day!

Hi, we are thinking of going to Disney in Shanghai and need some advice regarding Visas. How did people go about getting theirs? There are so many different ways to go about it on the internet and many variations in price too depending on which site you go on. If anyone can help, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Hello Cbarker

We head out this November and are using a 144 hour transit visa that you can get for FREE at the airport on arrival.
There are certain conditions you must meet before you can get this however.
The biggest one is that you must be leaving the airport you arrived at within the time frame and you must be flying on to another destination other than the one you arrived from and also your next destination after leaving Shanghai for example must not be another Chinesa city although Hong kong is allowed.
This visa is perfect for us as we are staying 5 days and then flying out to Thailand for the remainder of our holiday.

Edited at 09:26 PM.

I visited Shanghai Disney on my own when I went over to China with work.

It is fantastic. POTC is just phenomenal! I sooooo wish they'd bring this to Florida!

It was busy when we went in October, but I think it is more busy in the summer. We were also there 2 nights during the week (basically a day and 1/2 before moving on to Beijing).
