If you know which cruise you want, you should then be able to identify the boat (probably the Disney Dream? ), then do your research on room types. We’re doing the 4nt Bahamas next August, and on Bats’ recommendation we went with a Cat 8a. Although they’re not verandah they’re much bigger rooms with dividers between the two sides, well worth looking up on YouTube. This will be our second cruise and we found on the first we spent very little time in the room in the day so it wasn’t wor5 us hav8ng a verandah

Sorry, got another question...
Is there much difference in price when booking as soon as they are released? Have looked at prices online right now for September 2021 so just wondering if that is roughly what we will pay or if it will be less than that if we book for October 2021 as soon as they are released.

Thanks!

So there is a site that shows you price changes in cruises and you can see opening day prices. Its - touringplans/disney-crui...s/fare-tracker

If you look for the date you are looking at you and room category you can see prices. Next years are probably going to be more just because every year DCL seems to hike the prices up a little.

We were supposed to be on the 3 night Disney Dream cruise last week but with the cancellation took the 125% credit and booked the 4 night next May. Still have approx $120 onboard credit as well. Bonus!

We have had an inside and a porthole room. While a balcony would be lovely, we didn’t miss it on the Disney cruise. (We did miss it in Norway where the views are more important to the experience).

The room layout is very good in both, I actually preferred our inside cabin which had the living area first, and then a curtain and the head Of the double bed was against the back wall.

But it was nice to be able to look out of the porthole as well.

So not very helpful really!

Not sure id the Dream has rhe same type of room however we did a 7 night cruise on the Fantasy and our room was enormous. It had a wall in the middle separating the sleeping area from the sitting area. Didnt have the split bathroom but was a good trade off for the extra space. Room also had 2 huge porthole windows and loads of floor space. Would definitely be the best sized room for 4 people IMO, if its available.
