Pool Heating - Sept/Oct

Hi Folks,
We arrive on 20th Sept for 2 weeks, staying in a Villa at Westridge. What are the thoughts on Pool Heating at this time of year?
We had it last time we went, which was nice, especially in the evenings at that time of year.
The cost seems pretty high so I was wondering whether people feel this is a must-have for late September, or whether the money is better spent on other things?

Personally I dont think you need it until you get well into October. September is usually still very hot so I would want a refreshing pool without heat. However everybody is different as no doubt you will see from the responses you get.

We wouldn't consider not having it. We spend thousands on the holiday and enjoy using the pool. Seems silly to scrimp. Owners should give a discount as it may not run that often.

We holiday July/August ... Always have pool heating.
Like to have a swim first thing and last thing at night... Fantastic in a warm pool especially after a hard days walking round the parks!
Would never hire a villa without it!

We've been in sept twice now first time without pool heating which we found absolutely fine, and I hate the cold! Second time as we had little ones with us we opted for pool heating but actually found it a bit uncomfortable. Was very much like getting into a very warm bath which is not what we wanted after a hot day at the parks.

We're booked again for next sept and have decided to give it a miss this time

You shouldn't need it in September, but have you been given the option to decide when you arrive at the villa, we offer this is any guests are unsure.
