Please don’t expect it to be quieter upstairs!
2017 we flew with virgin and sat in the bubble going out and coming home. Back 2 rows
Going out the seat belt and floor had dried sick on it, loads of rubbish and chewed up sweets on the floor! when we told the stewards they pulled their face to agree it was disgusting and passed us a bin bag ! Helpful!
Coming home there was a group of adults & children (about 5 adults) all drinking lots and they got louder and louder throughout the flight. They were singing, laughing, roaring etc having the time of their life while everyone was trying and not succeeding to sleep!
It was an horrendous flight both ways

We flew back in the bubble just over a week ago. It was very quiet and I managed about 4 hours sleep, which for me is good going.

We actually got off the plane last, they let most of downstairs off first. This meant everyone upstairs ended up stuck on the staircase as no one would allow us to filter off. It was a bit annoying.

Yeah, that the only thing with the back row, and because its quiet up there, you feel like you can really hear the cabin crew talking a lot. Not that good if you want to sleep. We came back, back row of the PE section in the bubble, it was lovely. I actually slept a little. (generally dont really sleep at all). So if you are economy, go as far forward as poss.
