We used it for Mancr and several times in Cardiff and was great every time.

Out of interest, where did you end up parking in Manchester? I can't think of anywhere wirh a drive in walking distance?

Was Gorton St and also Great Ducie St but the 2nd one was a private car park not a drive.
It's a really good service though, we've been very pleased wit the spaces we've booked

We always use the Arndale because of the evening rate & it's easy to get out of with no queues! Sometimes we just struggle to remember how to find our way back in is all

Yeah, had a quick look and saw some private car parks. Worth bearing get in mind. Just need to be aware it's not the best area of Manchester away from the arena!

JamesL's Reviews
DIBB Villa Reviews: 1
DW took DD to watch the strictly live show at the arena a couple of weeks ago. She parked on the carpark opposite manchester cathedral. She has used this every time they've gone for the last 4 years or so.

When they left the show they came out of the arena down the steps at the Huntsbank doors, crossed the road at the bottom and walked up the ramp to the car park. They were back in the car in about 5 minutes once they got out of the doors.

Its a pay before exit and there was no queue at the paymachine or to leave the car park so they got away quickly too.

There are 2 drawbacks to it - it's expensive which is presumably why it's not overly busy, and because it's not that busy, there are relatively few people around so it is a bit "lonely" late at night. When they left there were only about half a dozen people around.

There's quite a lot of building work going on around there but there are some stairs to the car park near to the door of the premier inn that are well lit etc if you didn't fancy the walk up the lonely ramp.

Hope this helps.

Little car park opposite the arena on Shaw Street. If you look on Google Earth, you would do a left up Dutton Street, right up Shaw Street, then turn into the car park on the left. The last time we went, it was £2.50 for 24 hours. The car park on the right was £6 if my memory serves me right. Best time to arrive is just after the workers have gone home around 5 - 5:30pm, but before the concert goers arrive.
