That's one of my absolute faves from simply cook. Its in my next box.

I'm doing the Balinese chicken curry tonight. I'm so stressed at the minute, and I love pottering around the kitchen cooking

I am loosing the plot with my fussy daughter... tonight is Spanish chicken with potatoes but I am running out of ideas lol
Haha made me chuckle.

Can anyone remember the days when you got home from school and a meal was put on the table for you, if for some reason you didn't like it you went hungry that night.

My grandkids are exactly the same, don't like that, don't like this, so they just get something else that they wan't

Some great ideas here. We’re having a baked ratatouille - you slice all the veg and line it up in rows, sit the veg on top of some passata, sprinkle on Parmesan and bake in the oven.
Served with crusty bread.
We’re not vegetarians but like to have meals without meat occasionally and this is a winner because once prepped, you can just forget about it.

I always say that to my children, they don’t know how lucky they are. We would not even dare to moan! My mum could not cook at all, our meals consisted of smash & beans (plate of slop) smash & fried spam, smash & findas crispy pancakes, sandwiches made with ham out of a tin which was covered in jelly 🤢
Corned beef and potatoes mashed together or boiled potatoes with bacon & onion.
At weekends we was allowed desert which was angel delight

I might serve my lot smash and fried spam and see their reaction 😂😂 not sure if they still make smash... for mash get smash!

I will only make one meal so I do my weekly menu based on things my daughter will eat but she is a pain in the butt when it comes to food.
