Great to see you back on the boards Julia. Lovely smooth travel day. We always have multiple connecting flights too, so it's always good to read of days like that going well to calm the nerves about the next one!

The kids did really well, it must have been a long day for them. It's good that you got an upgrade on your car with no problems. We have Avis preferred for the first time this year and I was a bit worried about not getting to choose our own car.

Looking forward to reading all about this trip, and I hope you're having a great time on your current holiday as well

Hi Lynda, yes i think we had a brilliant travel day couldn't have gone any better really. I do hope your next travel day goes well and i can't wait to read about your next big trip!

Yeah Avis have usually been quite helpful, there's no harm in asking is there?

I'm going to finish this one off really soon, hopefully then will get on with the California trip. It was just the most amazing holiday and i still have major holiday blues!
