Well we ate it and quite enjoyed it. Think next time i”d opt for the suggestions above of using tortilla wraps and tortilla chips, that sounds delicious! 👍

I had it in a pub once and have made it since. Used tortilla crisps instead of pasta. Is lush!

i regularly use a tub of chilli from the freezer to make lasagne... just bulk it out with a load of sliced mushrooms (and maybe a tin of baked beans if you like them) and top with sheets/cheese sauce. easy!

also, keep at least 2 sharpies in your cutlery drawer (or some other drawer that you can easily access) to use for labelling tubs/bags of food before putting in the freezer. plastic takeaway food tubs work well, and you just need to give them a bit of a scrub on the lid to remove the writing. once cleaned, put in a cupboard until you need it again and label/dat before freezing...

This reminds of of the time we were going away and leaving our boys at home. I prepped many meals for them to defrost and reheat.
They took out a curry one morning, and went to heat it, only to find homemade chocolate ice cream. I think they ordered a takeaway that night! I label carefully now!
