Windsor hills

Hi

Has anyone stayed at windsor hills?

Found a good price for a 3 bed apartment and really close to Disney which is ideal as they will be the only parks we visit. Local area looks good with local restaurants / supermarkets nearby.
This will be our first offsite visit so all new to us.

Other question - has anybody been able to hire a bed guard locally?
Our little one will just have turned 3 so will be fine in a single bed against the wall but will definitely need a bed guard to stop her falling out the other side! Can understand if the apartment complexes don't have them but wondered what you would normally do. Previous stays at Disney have always included them for us.

Thanks !

No hassle vacations do bed guard hire $3_5 a day but at Windsor Hills you could easily and might be cheaper order one from Walmart or Target and pick it up instore take about 15 mins max to get to Target at Rolling Oaks or even less to Walmart at the top
Of old lake Wilson road if you are driving or using Uber etc Walmart is Walkable if it’s not dark or too hot
Certainly wouldn’t walk on the dark crossing the road in day light is bad enough

We were lucky to stay there in Feb this year. It was perfect for us! We can’t imagine staying anywhere else, however sadly it seems the dibb owner has been hit by curse of covid as the house appears to have been sold
We had daily trips to the MASSIVE Walmart. So many restaurants within 5 mins drive, spoilt for choice!
I can’t help with a bed guard as we have teens

Thanks for those tips, we will be hiring a car so won't be too much trouble picking one up , I didn't know you could order one to the store etc, I think that may be what we do ! Thanks
Sounds like you know the area quite well , do you tend to get caught up in traffic getting to and fro the Disney parks? I've heard traffic can be a nightmare.

Oh wow that's good to hear yes we were in Disney in Feb too ! Very lucky indeed.
Were you in a villa or apartment ? Are they quite close together ? I know sometimes these complexes can be really spread out

We were in a 3 bed town house a few mins walk from the pool complex.
From memory the apartments tend to be closer and over looking the pool area but don’t quote me!

We absolutely love Windsor Hills, have stayed in a 3 Bed Condo, Townhouse and Villa. Facilities are great as is the location and would go again in a heartbeat.

I live just down the road. Windsor Hills is so close to Disney you really don't need to worry about traffic. Disney is just the other side of 192.
