Things to do near the O2

Agree, Greenwich village and Canary Wharf are both worth a visit. You could also take a tube one stop to Canning Town and change to the DLR to have a look at the Thames Barrier. Or the new cable car is only a 10 minutes walk from the O2 and is well worth a round trip for great views of the O2 across the river. I went to JCSS today - you'll love it! Be prepared for a long wait if you are getting the tube after the show.

Agree on the cablecar front - its great and really worth doing! You get an awesome view of the city and its really fun.

The other option is at the O2 itself - they now do a thing called 'walk o2' where you can walk over the top of the o2! It looks really cool and we are considering doing this later in the year.

The London eye and aquarium (and namco with the best dodgems in london! ) are all a direct tube (jubilee line) to the o2. Southbank as well is also worth a potter around. xx
