? Vegetarian cake mix?

Looking at the Betty Crocker confetti cake mix - I cannot see if it is vegetarian or not

Here are ingredients

Ingredients

Sugar, wheat flour, palm fat, raising agents (calcium phosphates, sodium bicarbonate), modified corn starch, corn starch, emulsifier (propane-1,2-diol esters of fatty acids, mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids, sodium stearoyl-2-lactylate), dextrose, rice flour, salt, stabiliser (xanthan gum), flavouring, thickener (tragacanth), colours (carotenes, riboflavins, carmines, brilliant blue FCF, copper complexes of chlorophylls, indigo carmine). For allergens see ingredient in bold. May contain milk, egg and soy.

Anything in there not for a vegetarian? DD wants to do one to take to school but may have to do own version.

I’m veggie, I wouldn’t eat it as it contains Carmine food colouring (crushed bugs).

Thanks I knew someone would be along and let me know if it was suitable, at least her classmates arent vegan and we can just do a normal cake! Probably healthier option too! X

Eggs are vegetarian it’s just vegans that don’t eat eggs.

This is my favourite vegetarian cake and you can also substitute the almonds to make it nut free too. Most people would have all the ingredients in their pantry too. It’s delicious.
