Seattle to WDC in 6 weeks

Fabulous trip and can't wait to read all about it. We're staying at the Mayflower Park Hotel in September, so will be interested to hear what you think of it!

I'd also recommend the Free Walking Tour, which we did when we were there last.

Also go up the Sky View Observatory at the Columbia Center. It costs to go up now but you have a fabulous view as it's higher than the Space Needle! There;s also the highest Starbucks in USA on a lower floor.

We saw a training video once about a fish stall in pike market. It looked very entertaining.

We have booked Mayflower Park for our next Seattle trip, hotel prices have gone through the roof in Seattle since last there, I thought MFP though a bit oldy world looked fine and its close to Westlake. We always take the transit.

Pike place is not like quincy market (we used to live in Boston) its much more like a traditional market, watch out for the flying fish!
