DAS having left the park

If you booked ROTR just before leaving Hollywood studios it remains on your MDE till you go back and use it or drops off at the end of the day.

If you decided to go to another park instead, you can cancel the das and select a new ride in whatever you've entered.

Yep makes sense and most likely what I would do, useful to know whether or not you can book outside the park having already scanned in, which there seems to be mixed messages on. Seems like the safest option is to book before you leave.

That's what we did with animal kingdom. Booked flights of passage just as we left the park. Later that day waked straight into the lightening lane. Once scanned into FOP I booked the safari so by the time we walked up the waiting time had passed

When you leave the park you don't have access to Disney WiFi so no das options to book.

Once you scan back in and go onto the WiFi the DAS option will be available again.

When park hopping we tried to book Ratatouille before leaving Hollywood studios and it wouldn't work. Until we went though the turnstiles at Epcot we couldn't book any rides there.
