Celebration is beautiful. You could start with breakfast at the Market Street Cafe, then sit for a while in the rocking chairs by the lake watching the world go by. Followed by a walk around the lakes to see the amazing houses. There's a Starbuck's there too for a cold drink after your walk. Or Ice Cream from Kilwins.

We like to have a walk around the lake as there are quite a few trails and watch the world go by. Last time we were there May time we wondered why there were so many piles of fresh water shells on the shore until we saw them being caught and eaten but the highlight was the heron who dived for a fish and caught it. It is also possible to hire bikes and go for a ride. Rarely stop without a visit to Kilwins for ice cream though.

We walked around a few of the lakes (until it got too hot). Saw a couple of little gators just laying out next to the path. Stopped for a cake from the bakery when we got back.

Always go, lovely place.
We go for a walk around the market on a Sunday and the shops. Hire the bikes, takes about 1 1/2 hours, they give you a bottle of water and a map. You see some lovely houses and wildlife. Think it’s about $20 pp We then go for lunch at the tavern Great relaxing day.

Ice cream from Kilwins sitting in a rocker near the lake. Pushing it for "morning" though as they don't open until 12.
kilwins/stores/kilwins-celebration We visit a couple of times every holiday especially at night over Christmas. Mick

We love spending time in Celebration. Relaxing in the rocking chairs at the front of the lake or in the Celebration pavilion which is to the left of the lake and is covered.
We also enjoy some other walks that you can take beyond the far end of the lake that are pleasant as well. It's also our go to place on our 1st morning in Florida. |
