Thanks for this , it was a couple of months ago we looked so it has obviously changed with the relaxing of rules.

I was completely out of my depth when I booked our hotel and didn't really know where was what. I booked a premier inn in Luton and really regretted it, there were gangs everywhere, even in the stairwell of the carpark we had to walk down to get to the Premier Inn! So don't make that mistake

We were there on Monday and the shuttle bus was running then.

Sorry to jump on this, hoping to travel from Dublin and do this next year, anyone done this?

We stayed at the holiday inn right by Watford train station. Hotel was fine and we walked into the town centre and Had a meal and saw a film.

We used the train from
London which was very easy but make sure you get the fast train. We jumped on the first one and it was very slow. We should have waited a few minutes for a later / faster train.
