Thanksgiving

We will be in orlando for 8 nights over Thanksgiving. We are not doing any parks just going for a chilled trip this time. Any suggestions of what to do over Thanksgiving as we were in Crystal River last year and hadn't realised not a thing would be open, we had Thanksgiving dinner in our hotel room courtesy of WAWA 🙃😄

Maybe book dinner at Disney Springs or a Disney resort - do bit of hotel hopping etc; or Celebration (everywhere gets booked early).

We've been over Thanksgiving regularly and for the past four or five trips (can't recall what happened in 2020 ) we've had dinner at Bob Evans. Traditional fare of roast turkey, mash, stuffing and a choice of veg. Includes a soda and a dessert (which we take home).

Under $40 for two last year.

They're a national chain

We go to one on the 27 near Posner Park. There's also one on 192 just opposite North Old Lake Wilson Road.

Sadly you can't get on their website from the UK to check locations without a VPN. They will show on Google maps though by putting your location in and asking "what's nearby - Bob Evans"

I like the sound of this, we are staying in Clermont and I don't drink so happy to drive.

Clermont is one of those addresses that stretches from Lake Louisa on the 27 northwards beyond the 50.

There is a Bob Evans on the 27 near Walmart and Citrus Tower Bvd though

Mick

PS Correction - even the Walmart at Cagan Crossings is classed as Clermont so maybe Clermont spans around 17 miles along the 27
