Disney Dinning Credit

Quick question,

We fly tomorrow, we have booked AKL through WDTC as part of last years offer (dining credit, 50th celebration basket, disney gift card)

I am assuming the gift card is the usual case of picking up and disney springs, and the 50th basket you collect at check in. But what its the norm for the dining credit?

I was speaking to a colleague who got back last week and they received it via email in advance of travel. However we have not received anything yet, having done online check in earlier in the week. Just trying to work out if I need to phone Disney at lunch today or if it will all be resolved at check in.

You don’t get it in advance from Disney, you get it after check in and it’s emailed to whatever email you’ve given them. We did online check in and it arrived when our room was ready which was on our drive from the airport.
Once you receive it you can add it to apple wallet. For mobile order you need to paste the number into the gift card section so I saved it in my notes.

We never received the email, so the resort ended up just adding it as a room credit. That was back in March when a lot of CMs didn’t even know what it was so I’m sure it’s sorted now but either way you will get the credit.

Back in May I received the email as we were on the Mears coach. So I think it should get sent as soon as your room is ready.

Is it just Apple wallet you can add it to or would it add to G-Pay or Samsung wallet like the park tickets have? Sorry if that sounds silly but some places have a contract with Apple, some don't over stuff like this so thought it worth asking the question. Thanks! 🙂

The dining credits are emailed on check in day.

If you've booked direct with disney the gift card is collected somewhere at Disney springs.

We had booked with ATD and it was a downloadable gift card before we went

We saved the dining credits to everyone's Google pay and the gift cards.

If you save the long account number you can paste it into the payment section when mobile ordering

Good to know about the Apple wallet bit, just set up Apple Pay for my debit card & added my gift card there. Very handy. Would you be able to see any balances of either the gift card or dining credits in the app?
