Attestation form VA if unvaxxed child

Hi all

We are flying Friday. One of our daughters is vaxxed, the other isn’t yet.

Are we better completing the attestation form online or at the airport? My understanding is that it just means we can’t do online check in, which isn’t a problem, but just checking.

We flew in July with Virgin. Our 10 year old had covid in March so had to wait 12 weeks for vaccination meaning she has only had 1 dose. We did OLCI for all but her as it said they needed to see her covid paperwork. We printed the assertion form off and they asked for it and took it off us at check in. On the way in could do OLCI for all of us.

Do you mean paperwork to show she was clear? Children under 18 don't need to show anything.

It said we couldn't check in as they needed to see her paperwork and I was unsure what that was but what the wanted was the assertion form and they took it off us at check in. Nobody was asked anything else about covid but we had to show our NHS pass to someone who was walking up and down the queue and marking off that they had seen them.

I know they don’t need vaccinating but just trying to see if we need to complete the form from home (it looks like we print it?) or if this can be done at the airport? Thanks

Can’t you do it online & upload it to the system of whatever airline your flying with?

I’ll check later as DH seemed to think you had to print, so this would be easier if we could do it online!

I’m pretty sure you can upload it, I’ve printed them aswell for my own piece of mind. But we fly next week and I’m trying not to think about it too much lol.
