Virgin from Heathrow

Hi All

I wonder if anyone could tell me which plane Virgin is using from Heathrow to Orlando? Is it the A330 or A350 or do they alternate.

Thank you all 😁

We are on an A350-1000 on the way out from Heathrow to MCO. We are flying back from Miami on a 787 Dreamliner (secretly buzzin’ for that)…

It’s both, but you’ll get the A350 more often than not.

We have the A330 on the way out and A350 on the way back. As there are generally 2 flights a day at the moment it could be either as it seems to interchange.

According to my booking for May, we’ve got the A350 outbound and the A330 inbound.

If you do a dummy booking, it will tell you which aircraft it is, and give a seat map.

The A350 is actually better for us as a family of 3, as it’s 3 3 3 configuration, so we’ve bagged ourselves window seats (well DD is having the window,) but the A330 is 2 4 2, so coming back we’re in the tail where it tapers as goes to 3 in the middle.

My opinion only, but the A350 is nicer than the 787.

Sad times. I have never been on a Dreamliner, but i thought they were meant to be awesome. Maybe i'll be sorely let down. We are Virgin Economy Delight on the A350 as well...
