I think having two types of potato is posh personally, I'm not a fan of turkey although I eat a slice at Christmas but I love gammon and all the trimmings, especially the veg.
I personally only serve Yorkshire pudding with beef but I think that's an age thing. Edited at 08:19 AM. |

Glad it’s not just me who’s a commoner 🤪
My kids don’t really like roasties (weird creatures I know) so they lap up the mash!

It’s not for commoners, that’s a stupid thing for her to say but no, I don’t see the point in having two types of potato on one meal.
I do enjoy roast chicken with mash and gravy but Christmas is definitely roast potatoes for us. |

I would 100% do mash as well as roasties but we’re catering for 15 people so keeping it to one type of potatoes this year!

We always have mash and roasties as both along with the veg leftovers end up in a nice big bowl of bubble and squeak for Boxing Day

No mash with roasties but we do have a Yorkshire pud with Christmas Dinner.
I actually prefer Boxing Day lunch with lashings of bubble and squeak and cold meats, salads and pickles, delicious 😋 |

We all prefer our Boxing Day bubble and squeak day meal, and yorkies with Christmas dinner is a must too.
