Possibly the best chicken soup ever

I’m at/the villa and I’ve been dog sitting for a neighbour today
When they picked him up the brought her mums home made
Italian chicken and pasta soup with a American twist creamed corn
I’m hoping I can get the receipt it’s pure comfort food made with left over roast chicken not your totally over salted soup here

Ooh Helen, we love chicken and corn soup! I just sweat off onion, carrots, celery and dried Italian herbs, then add loads of chicken stock (you could also use vegetable stock). I pop raw chicken breasts into the stock and then slowly poach them. Once they are cooked through I shred them and then add a tin or two of creamed corn. You can also add noodles just before serving. Sooo simple and easy. If they share their recipe with you, I would love to know it! 😁

Edited to add: I pre cook my noodles and add them at the end. Also salt and pepper to taste!

Ok I'm going to be really dumb now but what do you mean by sweat off? I used to make soup in my soup maker but I burnt it and had to throw it but I did love home made soup.

Louise, I got mine at Morrison’s but I have also bought it at our local Asian store. I always stock up as it can be hard to find!

Sainsburys have it listed on line (the Libbys one) but no longer on the shelves in store.
Do you add anything to the cans of sweetcorn?
