2 years late CAKE CAKE CAKE

Morning all my first try at a trip report inspired by Collette 🙊🥳
We arrived last night & stayed at Best Western at Heathrow
We’ve been here before was ok, I slept rubbish as a always though 😳😫
Up at 4.50 and parked in the official long stay then took the inter terminal train to 5, all very easy
Our son & DIL said it would be ok to FaceTime Henry our 5 year old Grandson which we did but he said he didn’t want us to go & got upset & so did I 🤦Bad idea

We arrived at Terminal 5 very early before 6.30 & our flight at 11.15
It said on the board don’t check in before 8.15
So rude not to have a latte, the queue was long about 20 mins
We went to the check in desk at just after 7 they let us in
All done & through security by 7.40
Another large queue for Wetherspoons Crown Rivers
Bought some smellies at Duty Free, given a voucher for 10% off too 👌
Just waiting for our gate to come up
Hopefully on time 👌🤞
No cake as yet but I’m hoping for a Dunkin Donut when we get to Boston🍩✈️🇺🇸😋😋
