Hmm, I think my favourites are lemon, carrot or banana. Oh, coconut too with lime.
I don’t get red velvet cake. I love cream cheese frosting, I use it for most cakes but I just have no idea what flavour red velvet is supposed to be. It has minimal cocoa and just a shed load of colouring. I’m asked for it a lot though

If I’m out for an Italian meal, it’s Tiramisu If I’m at Costa it’s Carrot Cake If I’m in M&S it’s coffee & walnut I definitely am a fan of cake & had my share out here now This Coconut one last night was up there with the best I was going to order the chocolate cake until I saw another customer have it & it was huge 10 layers, I would’ve been defeated ☹️😫😢  |

I love cake But a good or decent GF option is rare so love a fresh cream meringue.
However local coffee shop does a lovely moist chocolate cake. Hate,Loath, Detest the GF option of BROWNIE which is usually dry & tasteless. Hence I always have a GF biscuit in my bag. Please share GF recipes , pictures & post slices to me

Red Velvet but has to be authentic with buttermilk and vinegar and not just a dyed chocolate cake.
