I love city breaks and DC is one of the best but you’re right in that Harpers Ferry was the highlight. You could dump me and leave me in Virginia or W. Virginia, just stunning countryside and views in all directions!
They both did enjoy themselves, mum for the history and Hope for the shopping!
We will definitely do another trip the 3 of us, we were talking about it just last night as mum was up to see Six with Hope at Hampton Court Palace. I think we may do a relaxing week on the beach somewhere, maybe Miami so we get good weather, food and not forgetting shopping 😂.
Need to settle in to BA first then can start using my staff travel once I get my head around it 😬
