Just to update you all, I went for the second hand Scout Drive I mentioned in my previous post. I've tried it out on a few short trips at home (to the local pub for lunch last weekend and to Costco yesterday!) and I really wish I'd bought one sooner. I never realised the impact walking had on my energy levels and PEM, even around a supermarket.

I've arranged special assistance with Aer Lingus to transport my scooter and provide a wheelchair and they've been super helpful so far. Now to look into DAS and the Universal equivalent to accommodate another of my disabilities!

Thank you again, you've all been so helpful. 😊
Just to say DAS is only applicable to conditions where a scooter or wheelchair wont be appropriate so you are may not qualify. All queue areas are wheelchair accessible in Disney so they expect you to just use that option. There are a few rides (Spaceship Earth for example) where you will be sent to a different entrance (for SE its the exit of the ride) but on the main part you will just go in with everyone else.

Thanks, as mentioned in my post, the DAS will accommodate another of my conditions which doesn't impact my mobility.

I have multiple long-term conditions unfortunately (I'm sure many here can relate).
