Good places to eat outside

With my husband being clinically vulnerable we are looking to try and eat outside where we can.

We tend to normally eat Denny's, Friendly's, Longhorn Steakhouse, Golden Coral,TGI, Applebees, etc type of places. We aren't big on expensive meals or fussed about drinking.

Please can anyone recommend any places you have either used or you have heard of.

My favourite place to eat is outside at Columbia in Celebration. You can book on line too.

The tricky bit is when you are going. Some restaurants in FL close their outdoor dining in the heat of midsummer because they just cannot cool it off enough for people to be comfortable eating outside.

We were at Universal Orlando in February and April when most table restaurants in City Walk had their outdoor seating open. If a table restaurant did not have outdoor seating, we just canceled that idea and chose a "quick service" instead, taking our food to an outdoor seating area nearby. Silver lining is that quick service is usually cheaper food and no tip.

Edited to add that a few of those restaurants you mentioned, OP, also have takeaway. In a pinch you could order your food "to go" and eat back at the villa/hotel (or by the pool?).

We've never done it but Logan's Roadhouse, Carrabbas's, Bonefish Grill and Ovation have outdoor seating. All in the same price range as Longhorn.

We fancied trying Gordon Ramsay’s Fish and Chips at icon park on idrive - watched a Tim Tracker vlog where I believe they sit outside

At Disney Springs, Homecomin have a nice outdoor area. So do Blaze and Dluxe Burger.
