I have tried booking an appointment but seems they are only booking two weeks in advance so can't do that until early September.
if you go on the website of the specific office you think you need, they should have a pop up live chat which is manned at this time of day. I got an instant response when i did it for the Davenport one earlier. I think that's your best bet to confirm what you need.

I’ve been on to the Osceola county website and they don’t seem to have a live chat function. You can send them an email request, which I’ve already done, but they don’t seem very quick to reply and I’d rather know the answer like yesterday lol

If this is the case and we can’t get to a tax office to apply for a placard we may just take the hot and park in the standard bays. My wife has limited mobility and with my help it’s not a massive hardship to park further away.

As the theme parks are likely to accept our blue badge however we’d definitely still need to use their disabled bays
You will absolutely not have a problem at the theme parks. They do not have depeuties walking around checking disabled hang tags. The parking lot attendants even have the authority to let people without tags use the spaces if they have a wheelchair etc.

Yes, with such a variation of international visitors many expect/assume law enforcement to be rule aware, or research via their cruiser puters to avoid the situation my friend encountered.

You’ll have absolutely no problems anywhere at Disney or any other theme park for that matter. They will all be aware of you being able to use your blue badge and are always very accommodating.

Always ensure when driving up to any toll plaza or security gate to have your badge visible so they can direct you to the disabled spaces. They filter cars dependent on where they need to go (disabled, priority parking or regular) so it just makes life easier for you and then when you get there
