Anyone changing to value resort after all price increases ?

We were thinking of staying at a moderate. We could do this but Im finding it hard to justify the prices . I am thinking probably a split stay with universal endless summer and pop century for the skyliner and Disney fix.
Anyone else changing their plans to reflect what’s going on?

We went value this year after previously doing moderates.
We went to all star movies, and couldn't fault it. Not much difference in room size, and when all is said and done, it's still Disney so the service from the cast members etc was what you would expect.
It would have to be an amazing deal to get me to pay for moderates again.

I think a lot of people doing this as I’ve been trying to add nights on to our Pop stay and it seems sold out online so I will need to call them to do this.

I'm staying at Endless Summer Dockside next week. I would usually have stayed in one of the premium hotels to get the express passes (we did PBH in April) but as it's just me and the kids going with DH staying at home I can't justify the big price difference. I've one night booked at RPR, mainly to get the express passes and used some Expedia points towards that.

We were looking at Pop for next July, but a couple of days ago, a Virgin deal came up for the Dolphin, which cost about the same. The deals weren't there a few days ago. Worth keeping a lookout - a lot of the convention hotels release rooms/dates that they've previously held due to convention cancellations, etc.

Having stayed at values/ mods/ deluxes overs the years of visiting , certainly with how the pricing is going and no perks , we have just come back from a stay at pop ( our favourite value having stayed here many times before) really couldn’t justify the costs of deluxes anymore , and to be honest it was great with access to the skyliner , didn’t even miss the dining plan !
Loved it so much even rebooked for May next year which wasn’t in our plans

It depends.

If there isn’t some sort of deal on like the Dining Credits, I would 100% book value. However for us personally we’ve found it works out better for us to stay Moderate during the dining credits promotions.

Deluxe is only really worth it to me for either a very special occasion or if the free dining comes back.

I just saw someone posting a price for Coronado Springs and it was nearly $400 a night in the tower?!

I’ve only ever stayed in the value resorts. I think they’re great and don’t see the need to spend the extra money on moderate or deluxe when that money could be put to better use. We only use the room to sleep and shower and the beds are comfy and the shower is nice and powerful. What more could you ask for? I’ve stayed in them all and they’re all good, my favourite being Pop Century.
