Just had an E Mail from Amazon Prime. This series starts on Sept 2nd. The Trailer looks good so worth a watch if you have Prime.

I really liked the original films. But then we found the Game of Thrones which knocked them in to touch.

Be interesting to see how this new Series pans out.

I saw it on BBC news too, I did a double take when I saw Lenny Henry, although I do know he does serious acting too .

Going against the other posts. I’m quite nervous. Fan of the books of the films, especially the extended versions. I think this looks, dare I say, a little cheap cgi based. I really hope I’m wrong.

To be fair that was my opinion was based on the first trailer. I just watched the new trailer and it looks far better. Hopes have been raised.

Totally took me surprise ... I absolutely loved the films, I really didn't expect to. Viggo Mortensen helped a bit

Hoping that this is better than their Wheel of Time effort - but judging by the trailer all the characters have the same very clean Hair & Teeth by Hollywood look so havent got great expectations.
