Not optimistic. Totally real, but it definitely depends on the time of year. In Feb 2022 we booked Hard Rock Hotel at Universal for three nights for about £185/night. For Feb 2023 we just booked Portofino Bay Hotel for about £290 (with club added for a total of £364/night). I have seen other times of year with good deals, but I doubt any of the summer months would qualify.

When dh and I go in October, without the two kids, we will stay in Aventura (no express passes) and take advantage of the single rider queues for the rides. Early entry/last queue of the day for Hagrids, AND a pool break in the middle of the day.
