Pre-ordering Magicbands on DVC bookings

Hi all, we have a 1 night DVC booking, renting points from a Dibber.
Went to preorder magic bands today but it will only let me preorder for me on this reservation even though my dh and dd are listed on the reservation.

Does anyone know why that might be, could it be something to do with the booking being dvc?

You might have to go into DH and DD's MDE's and add the reservation their profiles first.

Have you linked your booking by guest to mde?
It’s not just the name
On the booking I had to assign the booking to each guests profile. If you’ve already done that then I’m not sure what the problem is.

I manage my dd's profile as she is 12 and my dh has the reservation showing on his Mde, does that mean he's linked?

I can't see anything else I can do with it. It will let me preorder the bands for us all on our 14 night stay booked with wdtc but need them before we go to that hotel.

I will try the chat on mde.

Am i best to use a VPN for pre ordering? i went through MDE and it said i couldn't as wasn't in the US.

We always have to use a VPN for ordering magicbands, there are lots of free ones that do the job just fine. If you search on here for vpn people have some recommendations for ones to try.

There is a thread about how to do it with VPN. In the ticket and planning threads. Just did our five minutes ago. If you don’t all want new ones, you need to decline by clicking into each person you don’t want one for.
