We stayed in a townhouse at Windsor Hills it had 3 bedrooms, lots of space and a small plunge pool and the location was good. Last time we got a 2 bed condo at Bonnet Creek, we loved the location and the choice of pools, some had lazy rivers, others slides, there was also a lot of space for just hanging out around the resort and we didn't have to fight the I4 or 192 to get to disney. If you are wanting to do Universal parks and IDrive then Vista Cay gets lots of recommendations on here and that is townhouses and condos.
All townhomes and condo resorts will have shared pools and recreational stuff, how much and how good it is varies. |

We are staying in a 2 bed apartment at Lake Buena Vista Village and Spa this time. It looks very spacious and has its own balcony. There is a Pizza Express and Frankie Farrells Irish Pub on site as well as a poolside bar.

On our recent stay we stayed at The Grove and then onto Regal Oaks townhouses.
Having always previously stayed in villas The Grove wasn’t really for me. The apartments themselves were lovely, modern, large and spacious however the not being able to step out the door to the pool changed it for me. It was probably about 10 minutes walk for us to go the pool hence not using it so much. Also felt a bit overwhelmed at the size of the place not quite as quiet as a villa. Regal oaks our town house had a hot tub at the back and then the resort pool was lovely but we only used that a few times. We were all parks this year changed quite a bit from when the kids were younger. We were more later starters and out most the day. |
