Hi has anyone stayed at the Airotel Alexandros in Athens recently? Looking at booking a late minute trip with DD as she’s studying Ancient Greek at university and wants to visit the acropolis and museums so wondering if it’s in a good location, safe area etc. thanks

Asked my parter - it is a very safe area (across the road from the USA Embassy) and has an amazing swimming pool although it a bit of a way from the Acropolis and museums

Sorry missed Dibb for a few days as busy at work. Thank you very much for getting back to me that’s great to hear. We’ve got to use up some vouchers and that’s the hotel that’s coming up with our flights. We don’t mind walking and can also catch the metro if needs be. Looking forward to the pool too - it sounds lovely.

Partner signed the deal on Airbnb in Athens (right by Acropolis) - exciting times (and although beautiful will be refurbed in the Winter - MF special touches !)
