Birmingham hotel near Town Hall?
Being ageing 80s kids, we are off to the Fame reunion concert in September in Birmingham!
It's at the Town Hall, Victoria Square. Any suggestions for nearby hotels? Premier Inn is fine. I've been to Birmingham quite a bit but never stayed there overnight!

There are a couple of premier inns in the centre which are only a 5 min walk from the town hall. I would try either New Street station or Waterloo street.

Really close to new street and broad street so quite a few you could choose from. There’s a premier inn on broad street I think,

I'd price up the Premier Inn's and unless they were a bargain or you're not going at the weekend I'd be tempted to try somewhere else. I'm not a hotel snob and PI's are usually what I check first but Birmingham can be a bit rowdy in the evening and I need a good night's sleep!
I've done a dummy booking for 10th Sept and Premier Inn Waterloo Street and New Street are around £100 and Broad Street is £134. Malmaison is £150, Hyatt £170, Burlington £180. Hilton Garden Inn, Brindley Place is £135 so that would be my top pick. |
