We are booked in for 4 nights in September and wanting to try for a new room. Can someone confirm which building the new rooms are in so I can add to my reservation and keep everything crossed

Do you mean a renovated room or one of the new rooms?
I think that all of the older rooms are now renovated but new rooms are a different booking type (more like hotel rooms and so less points a night) and they are all in the newly converted building. If you have booked this room type then you should be on the new building.

Have you booked a resort studio? They are a separate booking category.

Ah right hadn’t realised this - I’ve booked a studio - what the new ones listed as?

Is it a resort studio? Why are they less points?

The new ones are resort studios , the original ones deluxe studios.

We are staying at GFV in September. We booked ‘resort studio’ as we wanted the newly renovated rooms and don’t use the cooking facilities at all so happy with a hotel room. The resort studios are in Big Pine Key.

Edited to add that they were the same points as the ‘deluxe studio’ option in the GFV building.

Sorry my mistake, I though they were cheaper. They are the same points for a studio but are sold as a separate name (resort studio).
