Child seat Alamo Disney car care

We have a full size booked for 11 days in August and considering booking a child seat for our 2 year old grand son would it be easier to add this to our USCAR HIRE booking now or alternatively arrange to pay for one when collecting ?

I added mine on to our alamo booking but I don't think there is any real need as they usually have loads. That's what I have been told anyway!

Last time we went in 2018 we couldn't pre book as I used avios to book with avis and the lady actually gave it to us for no additional charge.

Didn't think I would get away with it for 2 car seats! 🤣

What was the child seat like? generally in good condition? Do US cars have isofix? I assumed they did but read somewhere you would need to use the seatbelt method.

Before DS used booster seat which we now take on every trip, we used Alamo's child seats, not once we got one with ISOFIX on them, always had to strap it with seatbelts.

Basic seats but always found them clean and in good condition.

Thanks, need to brush up on how to set them up with seatbelts.

When we went in 2018 we could use isofix in the car we had, but we took our own car seat. Think they call it latch over there.

The car seat we got in 2018 was from Avis and it looked brand new. Was a rear facing one for her age. The manager fitted it for us.
