The Boathouse at DS

I was watching a vlog yesterday which featured Tge Boathouse at DS. The upstairs, outdoor seating area looked lovely and I was just wondering if it possible to go there just for a drink? If so, can you sit in that area? And would we need to book?

Hi,

You can just go for a drink upstairs and as far as I’m aware you don’t need to book. They have a bar up there and do some really good cocktails :d the last time we went (2019) they also had live music which was excellent and the place had a really good atmosphere

We went just for a drink and they didn't charge us for the warm bread rolls with butter and the kids' coca-colas. We sat at a high top table just by the bar and didn't have any sort of reservation. I can thoroughly recommend the Duck Duck Razz cocktail!

That looks lovely! Do you just grab an available seat or does someone seat you? Do you order from the bar or is it table service?

When we walked in we explained we just wanted a drink and that's where they sat us. We had table service for the drinks and bread and they couldn't have been nicer
