Heavy duty scooter disassemble?

Hello all - we are looking to rent a mobility scooter for our trip in September, and have found a company we are thinking of using, (Randy's Mobility, good price and my parents used them a few years ago and said they were very good). However, as DH is at the top end of the weight limit for their portable scooters, we are looking at the heavy duty one. On their website it says "easy to disassemble", but does this actually mean they come apart so we can put it in the boot of the SUV we are hiring? It doesn't matter if it is heavier to lift than the portable one, between the 2 of us we will manage it. I emailed Randy's twice but haven't had a response, then tried to ring them but the phone rings a couple of times then just cuts off. Anyone know if the thing will come apart? Thanks in advance.

Hi
I haven't used Randy's, but have used Gold Mobility (and, sorry, have raved about them ) - have a look at their website as they have some video's showing how to take the larger scooters apart.
