Both have posted about this today.

Not yet. Just that it’s one of the first systems to form in the tropics after it’s been quiet later into the season than expected.

This is a return to business as usual for this time of year.

It might and it might not become one. Have you seen where the system is, there so much which can happen on a daily basis.
We were staying on the 192 in 2004 when Jean hit, it was our middle weekend and we had to bunker down in the hotel. We bought a few pizzas and snacks and waited it out. Then back to normal straight after.

Very useful for potential hurricanes, but is there a decent/accurate weather forecast site that is recommended for day to day stuff?

Things are always so localised it seems (rain in MK and dry a few miles away at IOA for example)

I’ve always used the WESH app. The radar shows the weather systems moving around.
